Mohammad just completed his 12th year of teaching (all 12 in DCPS) and his 9th year teaching 8th grade at Columbia Heights Educational Campus (Lincoln Middle School). Currently he teaches Bilingual Language Arts (English/Spanish) a new course that he has developed over the past several years with his team that is based on both ELA and SLA standards. The process has been challenging yet rewarding at the same time. Mr. Rahman graduated from the College of William and Mary in 2010 with a BA in History/Government and in 2011 with a M.Ed in Secondary Education. Go Tribe!

This is Mohammad's 13th (a very lucky) year at Fairfax Collegiate. He has spent the entirety of his teaching career with the program because it provides a great respite from the regular hustle and bustle from the school year. In the summers he's worked as Location Director for many of the different locations (seven total) and during the school year he can be found teaching online courses that focus on reading and writing. Mr. Rahman greatly enjoys working with all the energetic instructors and enthusiastic students as Fairfax Collegiate has become an important part of his career and contributed to his development as a better educator.
