Where do you attend school and what activities are you involved in?
I attend the University of South Carolina, majoring in computer science, along with a management minor.
What have your teaching opportunities been outside of Fairfax Collegiate?
I tutored other students in various subjects across math, English, and science classes through Honor Society programs throughout high school.
What sort of experience have you had in the subject you’ll be teaching this summer?
I am focusing on teaching mathematics courses this summer and have extensive experience in this field. I have taken various math courses throughout my schooling, ranging from calculus, statistics, and computer science-based math classes. I also have experience tutoring math in high school.
What excites you about teaching and working with students?
I am excited to get involved with Fairfax Collegiate as it aligns with my enthusiasm to make learning information more enjoyable and approachable for young students. I love gaining new perspectives from how students approach problem-solving as well as playing a part in making a classroom setting an exciting experience.
Outside of work, what are some hobbies you enjoy?
I am on the executive board of UofSC's club gymnastics team and am involved in several computing-related clubs on campus.
