Emily Ready

I went to the College of William and Mary, getting a BA in Government and MA in Secondary Education. While there, I was a choreographer for Pointe Blank Dance Company and published in an academic journal.

I've worked for 4 years teaching 7th grade History in Fairfax County. I'm also the Social Studies Department Chair, NJHS sponsor, assistant director for the theatre productions, and the mascot :)

I started working in 2018 as an Instructor and have taught math, reading and writing, public speaking, and robotics.

Seeing how excited students get when learning something new and reaching that "a-ha" moment!

I love being able to build a relationship with each class and see kids thrive throughout the program. I also enjoy connecting with instructors and helping them make their classes the best they can be.
