I attended Loudoun School For Advanced Studies, and now attend the University of Richmond to study Computer Science. I've been a member of the National Honor Society for 3 years, and I took the mantle of President of my school's chapter as a senior.
What have your teaching opportunities been outside of Fairfax Collegiate?Outside of Fairfax Collegiate, I am always helping explain concepts to classmates when they are struggling with them.
What sort of experience have you had in the subject you’ll be teaching this summer?I've taken up to AP Calculus BC and Multivariable Calculus in Math. I've taken up to AP Computer Science A, and I have done numerous personal coding projects, like coding Minesweeper, Othello, and a Super Smash Brothers inspired platform fighter.
What excites you about teaching and working with students?I love seeing the moment when a difficult concept clicks in a student's mind.
Outside of work, what are some hobbies you enjoy?I am an avid board game enthusiast, with some of my favorites being Machi Koro, Terraforming Mars, and Splendor. I also enjoy playing video games, with my favorite being Dark Souls
