Gabrielle Moses
I am a two time graduate of the College of William & Mary I have my BBA in Marketing and my MAEd in Curriculum, Instruction and Design for Elementary Education.
Where do you teach outside of Fairfax Collegiate?I just finished up my fourth year teaching fourth grade in Loudoun County Public Schools. This year I was Team Leader of the year, a department chair for math, and on the superintendent advisory board.
How long have you been with Fairfax Collegiate?This will be my 9th summer working with Fairfax Collegiate. I was a math and public speaking instructor for 4 summers, and this will be my 5th summer as a location director.
What excites you about teaching and working with students?My favorite part about working with students is watching them discover new joys. Sometimes that means they learn something new and other times it is discovering a new skill or talent.
What are you looking forward to as a location director?I love getting to be in all the different classes and seeing what the students are learning. I am known to jump in and help out with a variety of fun projects that happen throughout the summer.
Outside of work, what are some hobbies you enjoy?Outside of school and work I love to run. This past school year I completed two marathons, and I am currently training to complete the Dopey Challenge in Disney World!
