Where do you attend school and what activities are you involved in?

I'm going to be majoring in engineering at Virginia Tech in the fall as a freshman. I just graduated from Potomac Falls High School and the Academies of Loudoun's engineering program. During high school, I was a member of the National Honor Society and Tri-M (Music Honor Society).

What have your teaching opportunities been outside of Fairfax Collegiate?

I've been a private middle school math tutor for the past 2 years, and for the past three summers, I've worked as an intern at LCPS' Summer in the Arts camp.

What sort of experience have you had in the subject you’ll be teaching this summer?

I worked on a year-long engineering research project at the Academies of Loudoun about 3D printing foldable sheets than can be used to create origami lattices. I took many high-level courses during high school such as AP physics C, AP chem, and Ap calc BC.

What excites you about teaching and working with students?

I'm excited to share my knowledge with a group of students that are passionate about learning and hope to inspire them to continue exploring new topics on their own.

Outside of work, what are some hobbies you enjoy?

In my free time, I enjoying playing guitar and arranging music as well as spending time with friends and family.
