Where do you attend school and what activities are you involved in?

I am attending the University of Virginia, pursuing a double major in Computer Science and Mathematics. I serve as the Technology Chair for HooHacks, Virginia's largest collegiate hackathon, and I am also the webmaster for UVA's Club Running team.

What have your teaching opportunities been outside of Fairfax Collegiate?

As Vice President of my high school's Computer Science Honor Society, I tutored students and developed educational labs for computer science courses in Fairfax County Public Schools.

What subjects have you taught with Fairfax Collegiate in the past?

I began teaching at Fairfax Collegiate in Summer 2023, focusing on Computer Science and Mathematics.

What sort of experience have you had in the subject you’ll be teaching this summer?

I have completed coursework in Data Structures, Computer Architecture, and Software Design Patterns. Outside the classroom, I work on personal projects including physics simulations, video games, and hardware emulators. I also participate annually in MIT’s Battlecode, a competitive AI programming competition, where my team placed 7th this year.

What excites you about teaching and working with students?

I find it rewarding to help students understand new concepts and apply them in creative, hands-on ways. Teaching allows me to share my passion for computer science while fostering a supportive environment that encourages exploration and problem-solving.

Outside of work, what are some hobbies you enjoy?

I enjoy playing guitar, lifting, playing video games, listening to music, and working on coding projects.
