Where do you attend school and what activities are you involved in?
I am currently a Computer Engineering major at Virginia Tech. Some related extracirriculars are tutoring through various honor societies, such as Math and Slavic Honor Society. Additionally, I am on the Dean's List.
What have your teaching opportunities been outside of Fairfax Collegiate?In high school, I tutored students through Math Honor Society and Slavic Honor Society.
What sort of experience have you had in the subject you’ll be teaching this summer?Some related coursework I have taken for Computer Science is AP Computer Science A, and CS 2114 at Virginia Tech. For math, my related coursework is Calculus BC, Multivariable Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations.
What excites you about teaching and working with students?I am excited to find like-minded peers, and find it rewarding to sucessfully teach a concept someone previously struggled with.
Outside of work, what are some hobbies you enjoy?I enjoy playing tennis, going to the gym, and spending time with family.
