Where do you attend school?

I am a student at the University of Chicago majoring in mathematics.

What have your teaching opportunities been outside of Fairfax Collegiate?

I have been a private tutor for the past two years and a frequent instructor for the strings outreach program started by my high school.

What subjects have you taught with Fairfax Collegiate in the past?

I began at Fairfax Collegiate in 2023 as a lead assistant instructor where I helped teach math and writing courses.

What sort of experience have you had in the subject you’ll be teaching this summer?

In high school I completed courses AB and BC Calculus and received 5's on both AP exams. This past year, I completed courses in Real Analysis and Linear Algebra.

What excites you about teaching and working with students?

My favorite part of teaching is helping a student have an "aha" moment! I also love being able to share my appreciation for math, sometimes by incorporating interdisciplinary elements like music and art.

Outside of work, what are some hobbies you enjoy?

I am a violist in my University's Symphony Orchestra, play piano, and write short stories in my spare time.
