Fairfax Collegiate Math Care provides in-person support during the school year to students enrolled in high-school level math courses including:
Fairfax Collegiate Math Care is a quiet environment with high-speed internet where students can complete assignments and prepare for exams with immediate in-person access to instructors.
Instructors check and reinforce students' understanding of key concepts. They also help students with homework challenges in an educationally appropriate way.
Fairfax Collegiate Math Care meetings are one-hour and forty-five minutes, and sections meet once per week.
The fee for each 105-minute Fairfax Collegiate Math Care meeting is $45, and families pay only for meetings attended. We invoice families monthly.
Fairfax Collegiate Math Care meets from 6:45 PM to 8:30 PM every Monday starting on August 25, 2025 at the Compass Classes facility in Herndon, VA:

Steven Nossal founded Fairfax Collegiate, Northern Virginia's leading summer enrichment program. He has personally taught math to hundreds of students over the past thirty years. Mr. Nossal earned a B.A. in Economics from Yale University.
Chloe Xie is a Senior at Langley High School. Last year she completed Multivariable Calculus and Linear Algebra. This will be Chloe's second year teaching in Fairfax Collegiate's school year math programs.
Lianhan Li is a Senior at Langley High School. Last year he completed Multivariable Calculus and Linear Algebra. This will be Lianhan's second year teaching in Fairfax Collegiate's school year math programs.
