Emma Shahin graduated from the College of William & Mary in 2021, where she double majored in Psychology and Music. In the past few years, she has enjoyed working in psychology research at Columbia University and teaching kindergarten in FCPS. This fall, she will begin an art therapy masters program, where she will further expand her interest in the intersection of mental wellness and the creative process. In her free time, Emma enjoys collaging with magazines, searching for quirky antiques, and trying out new dessert recipes.

Emma began working for Fairfax Collegiate during summers in college, where she taught photography, writing, speech, and leadership courses. This summer, she is excited to continue her career with Fairfax Collegiate as a location director at the Reston location. She is very much looking forward to getting to know the instructors and students at her location. Here’s to an incredible summer of learning!
