Where do you attend school and what activities are you involved in?
I am an undergraduate at UVA majoring in Computer Science and Data Science. I'm currently doing research for the DART Lab focused on provenance based threat detection. I will be working at PBS this summer as a cyber security intern as well.
What have your teaching opportunities been outside of Fairfax Collegiate?I volunteer at Computer4Kids which is a STEM based mentorship for low income households in Charlottesville, and I love it!
What sort of experience have you had in the subject you’ll be teaching this summer?I am going to be teaching 3D printing classes as well as CS classes. I have taken Data Structures, Discrete Math, Computer Systems and Organizations, and I have actually created a website for a Computers4Kids sign in sheet using Google Scripts.
Outside of work, what are some hobbies you enjoy?I really enjoy videography and hiking.
