Where do you attend school and what activities are you involved in?

I graduated from William & Mary in 2020 with a bachelor's in mathematics and Hispanic studies. I then completed my master's degree in secondary mathematics education there in 2021 as well.

What have your teaching opportunities been outside of Fairfax Collegiate?

For the past 4 years I have been a high school math teacher in Virginia Beach Public Schools, mostly teaching Algebra 1 and AFDA. However, I am moving this summer and will begin teaching Geometry and Algebra 2 in Athens, Greece.

What subjects have you taught with Fairfax Collegiate in the past?

This is my tenth year at Fairfax Collegiate after being a student myself when I was younger. It's impossible to imagine a summer for me without it!

What sort of experience have you had in the subject you’ll be teaching this summer?

I have taught many classes at Fairfax Collegiate, including over 40 sections of various robotics courses and math classes.

What excites you about teaching and working with students?

I love promoting the passion for learning in a student and making the classroom a safe, fun, and positive place for everyone to be!

Outside of work, what are some hobbies you enjoy?

Outside of work, I love to play and watch soccer, cook, and go to the beach.
