Where did you attend school?

I am a two time graduate of The College of William & Mary with a BBA in Marketing & Organizational Leadership and a MAEd in Elementary Education Curriculum & Instruction.

Where do you teach outside of Fairfax Collegiate?

I just finished my 3rd year as a 4th grade teacher in Loudoun County Public Schools. Prior to teaching at LCPS I worked as a long term sub in Williamsburg, Virginia.

How long have you been with Fairfax Collegiate?

I have been working at Fairfax Collegiate since 2017 and have been a location director since 2021. Prior to becoming a location director I taught classes in speech & debate, math, and writing.

What excites you about teaching and working with students?

I love making learning fun for kids and helping them to connect with the subject materials. My goal as an educator is to help students grow both as people and with their studies. I love when students leave my class with a smile on their face excited to come back the next day!

Outside of work, what are some hobbies you enjoy?

I am currently training for my first marathon and spend lots of time outside of work running! When I am not running I love to read or bake.
