Where do you attend school, and what what are you studying?

I attend the University of South Carolina, majoring in computer science, along with a management minor./p>

What have your teaching opportunities been outside of Fairfax Collegiate?

I am an instructor at the Student Success Center at my university. At school, I focus on one-on-one peer instruction, specifically in math and computing subjects.

What subjects have you taught with Fairfax Collegiate in the past?

I began teaching with Fairfax Collegiate the summer of 2024. I have taught Minecraft Modding, Minecraft and Python, and Flight Simulator.

What sort of experience have you had in the subject you’ll be teaching this summer?

I am focusing on teaching computer science based courses this summer and have extensive experience in this field. Through my major and field of study I have taken a variety of CS courses.

What excites you about teaching and working with students?

I am excited to be involved with Fairfax Collegiate as it aligns with my enthusiasm to make learning information more enjoyable and approachable for young students. I love gaining new perspectives from how students approach problem-solving as well as playing a part in making a classroom setting an exciting experience.

Outside of work, what are some hobbies you enjoy?

I am the president of UofSC's club gymnastics team and am involved in several computing-related clubs on campus.
