Where do you attend school, and what what are you studying?
University of Southern California, double majoring in International Relations: Global Business and French. I'm an active participant in USC's Model United Nations team as an undersecretary general for the fall conference, USC's foreign service society DPE, Language Ambassador, Trojan Bloom literary magazine editor, TIRP volunteer international relations program, and human rights field work research
What have your teaching opportunities been outside of Fairfax Collegiate?
Outside of Fairfax Collegiate, I currently work for an LA-based tutoring company through LAUSD and assist in lower-income facilities. Before college, I worked for Mathnasium and tutored for the National Honor Society in my high school.
What subjects have you taught with Fairfax Collegiate in the past?
I worked for Fairfax Collegiate during the summer of 2025. I taught mainly filmmaking but also college writing prep and reading.
What sort of experience have you had in the subject you’ll be teaching this summer?
For Model UN, I specialize in various international relations fields, ranging from global economics to human rights. I have taken classes on international relations theories, analysis of post-Soviet systems, and international law, and am a member of the Model UN competition team at my university.
For film, I frequently created short films during high school, which I would submit to film festivals and competitions around the country. Currently, I am a member of the film club at USC and enjoy attending the events organized by the School of Cinematic Arts.
Debate and writing are two subjects I am highly passionate about, as I believe they can be mindfully integrated into any field of study and track. Through my time in clubs and classes at school, I have developed by writing abilities and am honored to have the opportunity to share that with other students.
What excites you about teaching and working with students?
The most exciting part about working with students is seeing them develop a passion, understanding, and talent for what they do. Witnessing that full circle moment of fulfillment at the end of a challenging or tedious task always makes me happy and I know that they have been impacted in some way.
Outside of work, what are some hobbies you enjoy?
I'm very passionate about languages, travel, gym, beach, game nights, coffee, and restaurant hunting around LA, plus reading
