Where do you attend school and what activities are you involved in?
I am a student at Virginia Tech studying computer science in the College of Engineering. During my first year of college I was on both the President's and Dean's list. I spent much of my first year in college getting involved with a student-led investment fund, managing upwards of half a million dollars on behalf of the school.
What have your teaching opportunities been outside of Fairfax Collegiate?
I spent many hours prior to college tutoring students in computer science at Codefy, a non-profit tutoring organization focused on making computer science accessible to everyone. Additionally, I tutored in a variety of math and science subjects at the high school level.

I have been working with Fairfax Collegiate since 2022; during that time I was a teaching assistant for programming, math, and science classes.

I have been programming since my sophomore year in high school in languages such as Python, Java, HTML, and CSS. Additionally, I have completed up to multivariable calculus at the college level and plan to take linear algebra next semester.
What excites you about teaching and working with students?
I have been fortunate enough to find passion and enjoyment in my own subject of study, and I hope to be the catalyst for many students to do the same. Whether it be math, programming, or any number of subjects, I love supporting students in finding, developing, and honing their interests.
Outside of work, what are some hobbies you enjoy?
Outside of work I love to stay active whether that be through playing basketball, running, or lifting weights. I am also an avid NBA fan and enjoy watching basketball.
