Where do you attend school and what activities are you involved in?

I attend the University of Pittsburgh, majoring in Chemical Engineering. I'm the Vice President of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) at Pitt. I was the Vice President of the American Red Cross Club and an Officer on the Student Government Association (SGA) at Woodson High School.

What have your teaching opportunities been outside of Fairfax Collegiate?

I tutored science through the Science National Honor Society at Woodson High School.

What subjects have you taught with Fairfax Collegiate in the past?

I started working with Fairfax Collegiate in the summer of 2022. In my previous two summers at Fairfax Collegiate, I taught math, writing, and science.

What sort of experience have you had in the subject you’ll be teaching this summer?

I have experience teaching math and science from previously teaching the same courses at Fairfax Collegiate as well as from the courses I've taken at college such as Differential Equations, Calculus, Organic Chemistry, and Thermodynamics.

What excites you about teaching and working with students?

I love working with students because they are full of curiosity and enthusiasm, which inspires me to teach them all about what they want to know. Their love for learning inspires my love for teaching.

Outside of work, what are some hobbies you enjoy?

I like to crochet in my free time and I enjoy hiking on the weekends.
