Daniel Mena

Daniel is a rising junior at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He is studying Aerospace Engineering and Computer Science, mainly because of his interests in aviation and web development. He placed first in the 2021 TSA Virginia State Software Development Competition and enjoys teaching people to code during his free time. Daniel’s teaching experience also stems from his school’s Chemistry outreach program, where undergraduate students perform science experiments at nearby elementary schools.

Daniel is an avid traveler and enjoys documenting his journeys through photography and videography. He is fascinated by the freedom he has to express himself through these passions and finds joy in helping others do the same. He is excited to be teaching with Fairfax Collegiate this summer!
