Where do you attend school and what activities are you involved in?
I have recently graduated from the University of Virginia. While there, I completed a B.S. in Commerce and a B.A. in Biology. I was involved in 180 Degrees Consulting, a non-profit consulting club, and I founded an anti-littering club.
What subjects have you taught with Fairfax Collegiate in the past?
I started working with Fairfax Collegiate in 2021 and have taught introductory programming and video game creation classes.
What sort of experience have you had in the subject you’ll be teaching this summer?
I have extensive experience in programming that will aid me in teaching robotics. I have also taken several college level chemistry lab courses and have taken various science courses throughout my time at UVA.
What excites you about teaching and working with students?
The opportunity to inspire students in subject areas I love and see them academically develop is what excites me the most about working with young students. I believe a love for learning starts early, and I enjoy being a part of that.
Outside of work, what are some hobbies you enjoy?
In my free time, I enjoy cooking, traveling, and playing various sports with my friends.
