Where do you attend school, and what what are you studying?

I am an Aerospace Engineering and Physics double major at Virginia Tech. I currently am treasurer of the Society of Physics students and also am doing neutrino and nuclear research as an undergraduate researcher at Virginia Tech. I am a member of my college's Orbital Launch Vehicle Team and work with the structures components of our rocket.

What have your teaching opportunities been outside of Fairfax Collegiate?

I have been tutoring with a tutoring center through for the last 5 years, and I have experience working with students of all ages. I assisted with Summer Camp setup, grading, and taught various STEM topics.

What sort of experience have you had in the subject you’ll be teaching this summer?

I have been working with Python for my undergraduate research, using it for repeating calculations, advanced computations, and graphing 2D and 3D plots. I have taken other software and coding related classes in college, including Raspberry Pi. Having been a former student at the Academies of Loudoun, I have experience with the entrance exams.

What excites you about teaching and working with students?

Having been a student in Fairfax Collegiate, I want to help inspire students to pursue the topics they are interested in and help them find the motivation to continue their passions to the future.

Outside of work, what are some hobbies you enjoy?

I enjoy boxing, as I am a member in Virginia Tech's MMA club. Aside from that I enjoy drawing, painting, and working on art.
