Charis Armah is a current undergraduate student at the University of Virginia. She will graduate next year with a B.S. in Psychology with a concentration in Child Psychology and a minor in African American Studies. She has experience working with students and teaching as she has served as a student tutor at American Reads over the past three years in the Charlottesville area. She has also volunteered in My Sisters Keeper (MSK) aimed at helping high school girls in the Charlottesville area prepare for college and providing peer mentorship.
Charis is very passionate about the benefits of being an effective public speaker and writer and is looking forward to sharing that passion with the students throughout this summer!
