Where do you attend school and what activities are you involved in?

I am attending Carnegie Mellon University, studying Psychology and Biological Sciences, and I am on the Dean's List. I attended Quiz Bowl Nationals several times during high school, and I was an editor-in-chief of my high school newspaper.

What have your teaching opportunities been outside of Fairfax Collegiate?

I have taught at Hope Chinese School for four years, as a teacher and a teaching assistant. I have taught both math and Go, a traditional Chinese chess-like game.

What sort of experience have you had in the subject you’ll be teaching this summer?

I have taken math courses up through Linear Algebra. I have also excelled in standardized testing, scoring 1560 on the SAT.

What excites you about teaching and working with students?

I'm excited about the opportunity to teach and prepare the next group of K-12 students for the hurdles they'll have to jump in the educational system.

Outside of work, what are some hobbies you enjoy?

I like to do creative writing and to read.
