Salimah Hagmagid is an undergraduate sophomore student at the University of Virginia. Her freshman year was spent at Howard University, before transferring this summer. She is pursuing a B.A. in English Literature with a concentration in Creative Writing. Salimah completed her high school education at The Madeira School. Throughout her academic career, she has enjoyed participating in student leadership, theatre, Model United Nations, debate, and writing and performing poetry.

She is passionate about teaching students the power of words; the words they speak, read, and write. She hopes to inspire her students to grow confident in their ability to articulate their thoughts and ideas in front of audiences. Salimah is very excited to be teaching Public Speaking, Debate, and Model United Nations during her first summer with Fairfax Collegiate!
