Where do you attend school and what activities are you involved in?

"I am a student at Virginia Tech, majoring in Finance. In high school, I was extremely involved in the Investment Club, where I served as President, Rajdhani Youth Community (a non-profit organization), where I served as Vice President, Model United Nations, where I served as Senior Director, and lastly Bhangra Club, where I was Secretary. In college, I have carried out my passion for dance and have joined the Virginia Tech Bhangra Team.

I have won many awards in Model United Nations, received certification of Course Wharton Global Youth Summer Program 2021: Essentials of Finance and won 4 out of the 7 possible awards out of 20+ teams, received certification on 2 EDX courses, and lastly I received 3rd place in DECA District Level for Business Finance Category 2021 - Role Play.

What have your teaching opportunities been outside of Fairfax Collegiate?

I have helped teach and grade students' papers at Kumon. I was part of Rajdhani Youth Community, where I held free educational summer courses on public speaking and finance. In high-school, I volunteered for my high school Model UN competition which we hosted, and I have been volunteering for at least the past 3 years.

What sort of experience have you had in the subject you’ll be teaching this summer?

I am mainly teaching public speaking courses this summer at Fairfax Collegiate, and I have been a part of Model United Nations for 5 years. I have held two positions in Model UN: Director of Logistics and Senior Director.

What excites you about teaching and working with students?

I am extremely excited to teach and work with the young students because I get to see the students' creative and innovative ideas they will have for public speaking classes.

Outside of work, what are some hobbies you enjoy?

I enjoy watching and playing sports with my friends and families, playing Monopoly, and lastly I love reading and investing in the stock market.
