Intro to Precalculus

Rising Grades 10 to 12

Prepare for high school Precalculus or AP Precalculus.

This course is for students who want to pre-learn the core skills for high school-level Precalculus. A mix of guided practice and independent practice helps students strengthen their understanding of key topics and approach new material with confidence.

Students work through a sequence of topics that is based on the Precalc curriculum used in local schools and College Board guidelines, including polynomial and rational functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, trigonometric and polar functions, and functions involving parameters/vectors/matrices. They complete practice sets, explore real-world examples, and learn strategies that help them stay organized and accurate on more challenging problems. Instructors provide daily, individualized coaching to each student, as well as written feedback on quizzes at the end of each unit of study.

At the end of the course, students take home their workbook filled with notes, completed exercises, and quiz results. They leave prepared to meet the demands of their upcoming school year Precalc class with confidence and success.
