Review Algebra I and Geometry in a small-group setting.
Algebra Foundations is for students who feel lost or intimidated and need help getting back on track. The course integrates key topics from Virginia Algebra and Virginia Geometry to help students diagnose their biggest areas for improvement, then practice them to regain confidence. Small class sizes ensure that each student is able to get as much help as needed from an instructor.
Course topics include skills such as: operations with positive and negative integers, solving equations and inequalities, coordinate planes and graphing, operations with exponents, polynomials and factoring, algebraic word problems, the distance/slope formulas, and formulas and properties of 2D and 3D shapes.
