Learn about Algebra II early in your educational career.
This class provides 7th - 9th grade students with an introduction to Algebra 2. Familiarity with high school Algebra 1 is a pre-requisite, but all students who feel confident with Algebra I material will expand their knowledge and find value in this class.
Topics include (but are not limited to) expressions, order of operations, translating word problems into expressions and equations, functions, composite functions, inverse functions, quadratic equations, the quadratic formula, discriminant, solving equations by factoring, solving equations by completing the square, polynomials operations, exponents, radicals operations, imaginary and complex numbers, logarithms, the natural number, and function analysis (domain, range, continuity, increasing and decreasing intervals, extrema, zeros, end behavior, and turning points).
