McLean Test Prep Classes

Why Fairfax Collegiate?

Fairfax Collegiate has taught thousands of students over the last 30 years and delivers effective in-person test prep.

We've adapted to numerous changes to testing methodology, and the transition to the newest version of the SAT is no different.

Unlike the large national test prep companies, Fairfax Collegiate provide local in-person classes and excellent value.

Complete SAT Prep

Class time is evenly divided between the Reading and Writing and the Math sections of the SAT. All class sections take place from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Students cover each topic on the SAT throughout the eight class sessions. For Reading and Writing, that includes Information and Ideas, Craft and Structure, Expression of Ideas, and Standard English Conventions. For math, that includes Algebra, Advanced Math, Problem-Solving and Data Analysis, and Geometry and Trigonometry.

Students take two practice tests outside of class to gauge their progress, and during class they complete practice problems to solidify their understanding of the different question types on the SAT.

Using our proprietary SAT Strategy Guide, we’ll help students identify their specific review goals and design an individual study plan. This study plan integrates our live content review, our interactive prob- lem discussions, The Official SAT Study Guide, SAT practice problems, SAT practice tests, and key online resources.

As students execute their study plan, their score will improve. If there are topics a student would like to review again, we’ll let them retake the course for free.

Families are encouraged to purchase The Official SAT Study Guide, published by the College Board, as this is a valuable resource for students to gain additional practice outside of class time.

Free Retake Guarantee

Paying for an 8-week session of Complete SAT Prep does not limit you to that session! After attending a session, students may retake the course for free at any time, taking advantage of any updates to College Board study materials we use in the course that are released in the interim.

Additionally, families can withdraw from a Complete SAT Prep course after the first session if they are unsatisfied for a full refund.

SAT Prep: The Hard Problems
