Come alive with an in-depth look at cell structure, genetics, and more to prepare for high school biology.
This course is designed to give students an advanced look at some of the more difficult topics in high school biology, covering four primary units: Cellular Structure and Function, Biological Transport, DNA, and Heredity and Genetics.
This course is academically aggressive, with an emphasis on preparation, testing, and comprehension of important concepts in biology. Classes begin with important questions in biology to provoke critical thinking, before addressing those questions through focused lectures and activities. Daily quizzes and frequent review help tie concepts together to give students a deep understanding of how different biological processes are intertwined.
