Participate in a summer e-sports league and learn why schools are starting to offer them alongside traditional sports.
This course helps students understand why the comparison with traditional sports makes sense and how they can talk to their own school’s faculty about considering an e-sports program. This course also contains opportunities to try out supporting roles such as broadcasting and commentating on e-sports matches.
Similar to “E-Sports Arena 7-9”, this course uses the greatest part of class time giving students the chance to develop teamwork and strategic skills through playing popular e-sports games.
The games used in the course are Fortnite (ESRB Rating: Teen) and DotA 2 (ESRB Rating: Teen).
