Use competitive video games to help develop social and interpersonal skills.
Competition isn’t just for the soccer field anymore! Similar to “Team Gaming 3-4”, this course aims to help students develop their capacity for good sportsmanship, respect, inclusion, and setting and working towards goals.
In addition to playing games, students also learn about the emerging e-sports trend, and about opportunities to participate in e-sports at the middle and high school level.
The games used in the course are Super Smash Bros Ultimate (ESRB Rating: Everyone 10+), Super Mario Maker, and Rocket League.
