Students learn how to craft persuasive arguments and rebuttals, practicing these skills each week with a full-length debate in which each student has a role. Topics are drawn from student interest and domestic and world issues.
Each class ends with a detailed debrief from the instructor of both individual and team performance before a winner is declared. An individual progress report is sent to families after each class indicating student growth and suggestions for the next class.
