Number Sense 3-4

This class provides 3rd- and 4th-grade students with an approachable, step-by-step coverage of number sense within the set of rational numbers.

Topics begin at the 3rd-grade level and progressively move into a 6th-grade level. Even students who are not comfortable with number sense will get plenty of practice time and guidance to improve. Topics include (but are not limited to) rounding, decimals, negative numbers, place value, addition and subtraction with decimals, prime and composite numbers, even and odd numbers, product and quotient of decimals, order of operations, comparing and ordering integers, mixed numbers, decimals, percents, and long division.


  • Students must have a device with a microphone and a camera
  • A device with a keyboard is recommended, but optional
  • Students must have access to a printer
  • Students must have a reliable internet connection
