Farid Bazzal is a current undergraduate at Virginia Tech and a graduate of Oakton High School. He will be graduating next year with a B.S in Aerospace Engineering and minors in physics and astronomy. Farid discovered his passion for teaching early in high school when he tutored his peers in Math, Physics and other STEM courses. He pursued his passion for teaching by joining the Virginia Tech Math Emporium in 2019.
Farid is also an avid space enthusiast and is involved with the RockSat-X design team at Virginia Tech where he works with a team of undergraduate engineers to design, build, and fly small satellite payloads. He is very excited to teach a wide array of STEM and Engineering topics this summer at Fairfax Collegiate. "
