Jacquelyn Clark

Jackie Clark was born in California near a Navy base where her Dad flew jet airplanes. Both of her grandfathers were career airplanes pilots when they were in the Navy. She has always enjoyed math, science and art. Jackie graduated from South Lakes High School in Reston, Virginia, and this fall will be a senior at the University of Virginia studying aeronautical engineering. One of her courses this year was Mechatronics, which involved building and programming robots. Her hope is to one day be a part of designing airplanes. In her free time this summer she is learning Chinese. The last two summers, she worked as a camp counselor at a local day care where she planned children’s activities, leading teams and field trips.
