Ilsa Tinkelman
Ilsa Tinkelman is a rising senior at the college of William & Mary, double majoring in Government and Secondary Education with a focus in social studies. Ilsa is currently completing her teaching practicum at Jamestown High School, but she also enjoys working with students outside the classroom through Model U.N. programs sponsored by the College's International Relations Club. Last summer, Ilsa interned with a non-profit organization called Childhelp where she planned and taught reading, writing, and math lessons for a summer enrichment program just outside D.C. After graduating next May, Ilsa hopes to work for Teach for America, but would be happy to embrace any academic community where her love for learning would be a welcome contribution.
